About Me
Helllo & Welcome,
I’m Dahlia Al Nakeeb, my first name is pronounced Daa-lea.
I prefer to be addressed with my first or full name, instead of Ms. or Mrs. When referring to one another in conversations, I prefer the pronoun they, instead of she.
I live, laugh, love, hike and craft as a spouse, friend, sister, aunt and dog mum in the beautiful region of Bergisches Land in North-Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
My early life experiences combined with exposure to injustices for marginalised people, motivated me to study social work and international relations, with an emphasis on migration, diaspora and social justice.
After years of experience in traditional social work I followed my passion in the field of Diversity Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), particularly anti-racism, gender, body politics and anti-bias. I furthermore discovered my passion for supporting organizations in achieving DEIB, and that was my driving force behind becoming certified in systemic Organizational Development.

My Vision
Simply put, my vision is a more inclusive and equitable World where everyone feels like they belong.
To achieve this, I envision companies in which different identities are represented at all levels. These team members are not only welcomed but also celebrated, their expertise is valued and they are equal to their counterparts, who do not experience discrimination. This work environment creates the foundation to work together in mutual respect.
My Mission
It is my mission to create welcoming learning environments, that foster encouragement of continuous learning, reflection, empathy and a clear stance on anti-discrimination.
I provide consultations to help companies implement effective and sustainable change. This leads to structures, that ensure the same opportunities for all employees and mutual respect. These changes result in improved employee satisfaction, increased innovation and overall better business outcome.
My Values
Clear Stance & Empathy
Maintaining a clear stance on anti-disccrimination throughout a respectful collaboration is essential to my work as a consultant, workshop host or moderator. Empathy plays a vital role in recognizing challenges individuals face, both professionally and personally. These two elements are the basis of developing sustainable solutions.
Intersectionality
Intersectionality is a crucial concept in creating an inclusive work environment, as it acknowledges, that peoople can experience more than one form of discrimination. This affects people’s lives and therefore work life. The more types of discrimination we consider, the more inclusive solutions and strategies are, which subsequently contributes to the company’s optimization.
Multi-Partiality and Human Rights
It is crucial to give equal consideration to all perspectives, that are within the human rights. Especially marginalized individuals and communities who have historically been silenced or overlooked need to be given space and time in organizational development processess. This creates opportunities for growth individually as well as the company.
